How can an Administrator reset a customer password?

Inevitably, some Crashtag customers are going to have issues gaining access to their account. Some customers may also have problems requesting a password reset. Crashtag has Administrator functionality to reset account passwords. 

An Administrator may search for a customer and reset their password. When carrying out this action, be aware that Crashtag will invalidate any live sessions, and the customer will be logged out of the App. While this is typically the expected result, on some occasions, it may not be. 

 

How an Administrator can reset a customers password:

 

Step One & Two

Locate the customer via search > Click the Reset Password button.

 

 

Step Three:

Agree to the confirmation modal.

 

 

The customer will receive a password reset email and will be able to reset their password.
